The Botanica project is a fully masterplanned, integrated residential development situated 6 miles from the city of Cairns, Australia. The site covers an area of 33 hectares and will ultimately include over 1,250 residential dwellings and ancillary commercial and community spaces. The scale and range of the residential dwellings, deliberately varied in height, shape and colour, together with abundant landscaping and state of the art community facilities, also provide an excellent standard of architectural sophistication and construction technology. Designed in collaboration with architects Contreras Earl Architecture, Newtecnic prepared the concept design and detailed design of the facade and structural engineering.
