Light Industrial Building, 037641

This project is a factory for a small site where the production is arranged over two floors into large halls, one above the other instead of setting them side by side. This is mainly to do with the production method where components are produced in the upper hall and assembly is carried out in the lower hall. The upper hall is a tall space for overhead gantries, whiles the lower spaces are required for the finishing of the assemblies, and their despatch from the factory from the delivery bay door. The building is arranged with a single service core set at one end of the building, providing a large open production space in the centre. The other end of the building has storage of materials local to the production line in the central space.
