This residential building has a set of internal spaces which shelter residents from direct effects of the sun while enjoying a well-lit and naturally ventilated space. Restful living rooms and libraries of apartments look out onto the central space; rooms on the exterior walls are for activity spaces of kitchens, dining rooms and bedrooms. A service core of bathrooms and utility rooms is set within the apartment as a divider between activity spaces and spaces for rest and contemplation.
