NEWTECNIC POLICY FOR THE COORDINATION OF ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING DESIGN

This policy sets out Newtecnic's coordination of architectural and engineering design policy and explains what is expected of all Newtecnic personnel and associated persons. We ask all staff to act according to the spirit and the values represented by these policies in all activities undertaken as part of Newtecnic.

The information received from each architectural and engineering discipline is integrated into the architectural drawings, specifications and reports, which are determined to be the key set of coordinated information.

On any given project, Newtecnic architectural and engineering outputs are coordinated both in-house and with the outputs of other consultants. Each discipline provides a component to a report which is combined, coordinated again, and is issued to the client.

This report is the key output to demonstrate that coordination of a design project, at any given design stage, that has been carried out, and is the only document which sets out a summary and explanation of the coordinated designs.
